Hot Butterbeer

2 c. Milk (warm)

¼ c. Granulated Sugar

2 Tbsp. Water

1 tsp. Golden Syrup

½ Tbsp. Salted Butter



  1. In a medium frying pan, mix together granulated sugar, water, and golden syrup. Place on the stove top, and set the heat to medium-high. Do not stir the toffee mixture as it cooks. 
  2. When the toffee turns dark amber brown, slowly pour in the warm milk. Carefully stir until all of the toffee has dissolved completely. 
  3. Pour the hot butterbeer drink into your favorite mug. Top with salted butter and desired amount of marshmallows. Serve!
